I used the Stampin’ Up! Cool Treats stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge and this is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week…I got a little “loose” with the color scheme:

My card design was inspired by the Fusion sketch challenge this week.

I started by adhering a panel from the Tasty Treats Specialty DSP to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Cool Treats photopolymer stamp set in Chocolate Chip ink on a panel of Pool Party card stock.

I adhered a strip of the Tasty Treats Designer Washi Tape across the bottom of the stamped panel and then adhered the panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the sentiment panel, tied a bow and then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the ice cream images from the Cool Treats stamp set in Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Watermelon Wonder (stamped off once on the background image) inks and cut them out with the coordinating Frozen Treats Framelits Dies.  I adhered the Watermelon Wonder treat to the Pool Party panel with Glue Dots.  I adhered the ice cream scoop to the cone with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I added a Metal Rimmed Pearl to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink and added a strip of the Tasty Treats DSP on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
