Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty Note Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Eastern Beauty stamp set bundle and Eastern Palace DSP to create my card to share with you today.  The beautiful Eastern Palace Suite that includes three of the new 2017-19 In Color ink pads will be available for purchase beginning May 1!  You  can see more details about it here.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #284.

I started by adhering a strip of Eastern Beauty Speciality DSP (available May 1) to a strip of Very Vanilla card stock and then to a Dapper Denim card base with SNAIL.

As I was adhering the sentiment from the Eastern Beauty photopolymer stamp set (available May 1) to my acrylic block, I straightened it.  It’s really easy to either curve or straighten the long, narrow photopolymer images!

I stamped the sentiment in Tranquil Tide ink (available May 1) on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock and then stamped the scroll image on either end in Dapper Denim ink.  I adhered the sentiment to a strip of Gold Foil Sheets with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the outline medallion image from the Eastern Beauty stamp set in VersaMark ink twice on a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock (available May 1), sprinkled the images with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I stamped the smaller image in Tranquil Tide ink inside the embossed area and then cut the images out with the matching Eastern Medallion Thinlit die (available May 1).  I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Glue Dots.

I cut the center star shapes from Gold Foil Sheets with a die from the Eastern Medallion Thinlits Dies and I adhered them with a touch of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the larger die cuts.  I added a gold enamel dot to the center of each die cut from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the outline medallion image from the Eastern Beauty stamp set in Dapper Denim ink and the smaller images in Tranquil Tide ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.
