Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday Gorgeous Sneak Peek

I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set bundle form the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2017-18 Annual Catalog to create my card to share with you today.

I started by embossing a panel of Powder Pink card stock (available June 1) with the Brick Wall embossing folder.  After embossing the panel I tapped my Powder Pink ink pad (available June 1) on the raised areas of the embossing folder and then I closed the embossing folder over the card stock panel again.  That added a few touches of ink to the panel.  Then I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Flirty Flamingo card stock with SNAIL and to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut an oval from Whisper White card stock with the largest die in the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies set and then stamped the flower image from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous photopolymer stamp set in So Saffron ink over the two sides.  I adhered the oval to the card front with SNAIL and then cut the sentiment from Flirty Flamingo card stock with the Happy Birthday Thinlits Dies (available June 1).  I adhered the die cut with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I stamped the flower images from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo inks on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the leaves in Wild Wasabi ink on Whisper White card stock and used Wild Wasabi ink and a Blender Pen to add a little color to them.  I snipped the leaves and flowers out and adhered them with Glue Dots around the sentiment.  I added a touch of Clear Wink of Stella over the flowers, but that doesn’t show well in the photos.

I stamped the sentiment and flower images from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in Flirty Flamingo, Powder Pink, So Saffron and Wild Wasabi inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  1. Oh wow, oh wow, I LOVE this card!! I LOVE everything about it, the details on the brick, the colors, and the “Happy Birthday” die cut 🙂 So classy and fabulous card design 😉 I want it all, lol!

  2. Lovely card. Nice ‘girly’ one. Flirty Flamingo and the new powder pink go well together. And the brick wall is great.

  3. I love that diecut! Can never have too many birthday sentiments! The oval is the perfect base for the diecut on that brick wall embossing. Great card! Can’t wait to see what else you do with the diecut!
