Stampin’ Up! In Color Marquee Messages

I used the Stampin’ Up! Marquee Messages stamp set and the new In Colors from the upcoming 2017-18 Annual Catalog to create my card to share today.

My card design was loosely inspired by Global Design Project #GDP084.

I started by embossing a panel of Lemon Lime Twist card stock (available June 1) with the Sparkle Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Silver Foil Sheets with SNAIL and then to a Berry Bust card base (card stock available June 1) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the image from the Marquee Messages photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the lines and words with the Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst Stampin’ Write Markers (2017-19 In Color Markers available June 1) and then cut the image out and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the image from the Marquee Messages stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Powder Pink card stock (available June 1) and then stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink inside it.  I sprinkled the image with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it and then cut it out.  I adhered the panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the image from the Marquee Messages stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Berry Burst card stock, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the arrow out and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I did add a touch of Clear Wink of Stella to the dots on the arrow, but it doesn’t show up well in the photos.

I stamped the star images from the Marquee Messages stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on the back of a sheet of Silver Glimmer Paper, snipped them out and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst ink (available June 1) and the stars in Lemon Lime Twist ink (available June 1) from the Marquee Messages stamp set on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

  1. Yes!! You have just given me an idea 💡! I’ve got several masculine birthdays coming up and I needed inspiration 😀 I don’t have the new In Colors yet, but I can substitute a few. Also will need teachers cards….Thank you do much for the reminder that this set is so versatile, I’m doing the happy dance, yay 😉
