Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Tulips Just a Note

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tranquil Tulips stamp set, which is a host exclusive stamp set from the upcoming 2017-18 Annual Catalog, to create my card to share today.  My stamping friend Jari Francis created a similar card last week and my card was inspired by hers, you can see it here.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #287.

I started by adhering a panel of Wood Textures DSP Stack (available June 1) to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL and then to a Berry Burst card base (available June 1) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the tulip stem and leaf images from the Tranquil Tulips photopolymer stamp set (available June 1) in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I stamped the two smaller tulips in Berry Burst (available June 1) and Early Espresso inks on the panel.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Berry Burst card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the larger tulip images from the Tranquil Tulips stamp set twice in Berry Burst ink on a separate panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut around the outside of one tulip with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.  I cut around the “layered” tulip on the second flower with my Paper Snips and adhered that with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Soft Sayings Card Kit (available June 1) stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with layered banner die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  I cut a panel of Berry Burst card stock with the same die, removed the center piece and then used a little tape to adhere the two banners together.  I adhered the sentiment die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a gold enamel dot from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack next to the sentiment to finish it.

I stamped the flower and leaf images from the Tranquil Tulips stamp set in Berry Burst, Old Olive and Early Espresso inks on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts at the very bottom of this post.
