Stampin’ Up! Crafting Forever Smile Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Crafting Forever, Painter’s Palette and Eastern Beauty stamp sets to create my card to with you share today.

My card design was loosely inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 332.

I started by stamping the paint splatter and brush images from the Painter’s Palette stamp set in Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, So Saffron, Melon Mambo and Pool Party inks on a panel of Shimmery White card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Eastern Beauty  photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on the panel and then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the left side of the layered panel and tied a bow.  I adhered the stamped panel to a Flirty Flamingo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a Rhinestone Basic Jewel (available June 1) next to the sentiment.

I stamped the image from the Crafting Forever stamp set (available June 1) in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock.  I used an Aqua Painter and Soft Suede, Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, So Saffron, Melon Mambo and Pool Party inks to add a little color to the image.  I let the image dry completely and then cut it out with Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and I adhered it to an oval die cut with a Layering Ovals Framelits die from Pool Party card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the paint brush and splatter images from the Painter’s Palette stamp set in Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, So Saffron, Melon Mambo and Pool Party inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

  1. I always like the way you interpret the sketches. The way you put your own spin on the cards leaves me at wow! 😉 You make me think, hmm, what can I do 🤔☺

  2. No doubt about it–you are so creative! Love your combination of stamp sets to make the background crafty to fit the focal point! Those colors are perfect too! I agree with Jill–I’m always wondering but I’m a good replicator, not really creative!
