Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Celebrate Summer” theme and I have chosen to to feature the Colorful Seasons stamp set bundle for my project.

I started by stamping the sand and water images from the High Tide photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake and Tranquil Tide inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  Then I sponged a little Tranquil Tide ink over the water area and Pool Party ink over the sky area.

I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp the sun image from the Wherever You Go stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on the panel.  Once I’d stamped the sun image, I turned the Whisper White panel upside down and then turned the Stamp-a-ma-jig positioning sheet so that the ink side was down and lined it up under the stamped sun image.  I pressed the positioning sheet down onto the card stock panel, transferring the ink to create the reflection image.

I stamped the palm branch images from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist and Tranquil Tide inks along the edge of the panel.  Then I stamped the sentiment from the Colorful Seasons photopolymer stamp set in Soft Suede ink on the panel, die cut a chair from a sheet from the Wood Textures DSP Stack with a Seasonal Layers Thinlits Die and adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Tranquil Tide card stock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, then tied one of the Hearts & Stars Elements with Linen Thread to the panel.  I adhered the layered panel to a Tranquil Tide card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the beach scene in Tranquil Tide, Crumb Cake and Lemon Lime Twist inks on a Whisper White panel inside the card.
