Stampin’ Up! Gourd Goodness Sneak Peek

I pulled out two more new stamp sets from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2017 Holiday Catalog to create my card to share with you today.  I made a clean and simple thinking of you card with the Gourd Goodness and Count My Blessings stamp sets.

The Gourd Goodness stamp set is a two-step stamp set that is photopolymer so it’s easy to line up and use.  I started by stamping the leaf outline image from the Gourd Goodness stamp set (available Sept 1) in Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry inks across a panel of Sahara Sand card stock.  Then I inked the more solid leaf image in the same color, stamped it on scrap paper and stamped it over the first leaf image.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL and then to an Early Espresso card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a strip of Early Espresso card stock with SNAIL in the area where the sentiment oval would be and then adhered Very Vanilla 1/2″ Lace Trim over the Early Espresso strip.  I ran a little SNAIL down the card stock strip and then adhered the Lace Trim, gathering it a little as I went along.

I stamped the sentiment from the Count My Blessings stamp set (available Sept 1) in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock, cut it out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tucked a strand of Gold Mini Sequin Trim under the sentiment and adhered it with a Glue Dot.

I stamped the leaf images from the Gourd Goodness stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a separate panel of Sahara Sand card stock.  I used the small leaf die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies set to cut the center out of the leaf and I adhered it with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the card front.  I added three gold enamel dots from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the leaf images from the Gourd Goodness stamp set in Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock inside the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this post.
