I used the Stampin’ Up! Brightly Lit Christmas stamp set bundle and a little bit of the Christmas Around the World DSP from the upcoming 2017 Holiday Catalog to create a CAS holiday card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #300.

I started by adhering a panel from the Christmas Around the World DSP (available Sept 1) to a panel of Pool Party card stock with SNAIL.  Then I adhered a smaller panel of DSP from that same pack to a smaller panel of Pool Party card stock and then to the card front with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to an Island Indigo card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut the lamp post pieces from Basic Black card stock (I had adhered Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to the card stock before cutting) with the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits Dies (available Sept 1) and I adhered them to the card front with the Adhesive Sheets.  I stamped the wreath images from the Brightly Lit Christmas photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 1) in Garden Green and Real Red inks and I colored the smaller dots with a Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the wreath out with the Christmas Lamppost Thinlits Die and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.

I cut the sentiment from the Christmas Around the World DSP (it’s fantastic paper!!) with a Layering Ovals Framelits die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a bow from Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon (available Sept 1) to the lamppost with a rolled up Glue Dot and an Island Indigo enamel dot from the Regals Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and gift images from the Brightly Lit Christmas stamp set in Island Indigo, Pool Party, Garden Green and Real Red inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock on the inside of the card.
