Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  We’re so excited that we’ve got a couple of new blog hoppers joining us this month!  Plus several of us had Irma roll through our areas and knock out power so their may be a few links that aren’t working quite right if you run through the hop early.  Hopefully there won’t be any hiccups, but please be patient with us if there are.  We’ll get them fixed just as quickly as we can!

This month we are all creating projects with a “Halloween Fun” theme and I have chosen to to feature the Spooky Cat stamp set bundle from the Holiday Catalog for my project.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 349.

I started by adhering a panel from the Spooky Night DSP to a Basic Black card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut one of the 3×3 squares from the Spooky Night DSP and I stamped the owl image from the Spooky Cat photopolymer stamp set in Basic Gray Archival ink on it.  I stamped the beak and feet image from the Spooky Cat stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink over the owl image.

I adhered the stamped DSP panel to a panel of Basic Gray card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped a strand of Basic Black Solid Baker’s Twine around it and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Basic Black card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered the panels to the card front with SNAIL.  I snipped one of the witch hats from the Spooky Night DSP and adhered it with SNAIL over the owls head, then added two Black Rhinestone Jewels over the owls eyes.

I stamped the sentiment from the Spooky Cat stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then cut it out with a die from the Bunch of Banners Framelits Dies.  I adhered the sentiment banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals to finish the card front.

I adhered a strip of Spooky Night DSP to a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with SNAIL inside the card.
