Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday Gorgeous for the Stamp To Share International Design Team Blog Hop

We are back with another Stamp to Share International Design Team Blog Hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from all over the world!  This month we’re featuring the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set bundle.  Here are my projects:

My first card shows off the cool eclipse technique that’s been all over Pinterest lately.  It’s really simple to do!  I started by stamping the images from the Painted Harvest stamp set in Crushed Curry, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Suede and Old Olive inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  Then I stamped some of the smaller flowers from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in Sahara Sand ink over the panel.

I used the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die to cut the sentiment out of the center of the card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set in Soft Suede ink under the die cut area, then I popped the die cut sentiment out and adhered the remaining panel to a Soft Suede card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I placed the die cut sentiment back in the open space and glued down all of the little pieces in the centers of the letters.  I lifted the die cut sentiment out and added snipped up Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and then adhered the sentiment back in place.  I added an Old Olive enamel dot from the Brights Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

The second card features the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set bundle.  I stamped the flower images on a Very Vanilla card stock panel in Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand inks.  I adhered a panel of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of Champagne Foil Sheets and cut it with the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die and adhered it to the Very Vanilla card stock panel.

I adhered the focal panel to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL and wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around it and tied a bow.  I cut a silver Foil Snowflake in half, adhered the pieces to the sides of a Soft Suede card base with SNAIL, then added the focal panel over it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Gold Faceted Gem next to the sentiment to finish the card front.
