We’ve got a fun challenge this week at Stamp Ink Paper to create anything but a card.  I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Little Labels stamp set bundle to create some holiday gift packaging.  Thanks so much to Patty Bennett for sharing the idea to put the Ghirardelli chocolates into the Acetate Card Box, 6 of them fit perfectly!

I started by wrapping 1-3/4″ x 5″ strips of Merry Little Christmas DSP around Ghirardelli chocolates and adhering them on the back with Glue Dots.  I put the candy inside one of the Acetate boxes and closed the top.

I adhered a panel of Merry Little Christmas DSP to a panel of Basic Black card stock with SNAIL, then wrapped it around the box.  I adhered the band together on the back of the box with Glue Dots.  I wrapped a strand of 7/8″ Striped Ribbon around the box and tied a knot.  I punched a panel of Basic Black card stock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on one end and the Banner Triple Punch on the other.

I pulled a strand of Jute Twine around the ribbon knot and threaded it through the tag and then one of the Mini Ornaments.  I tied a small knot and added one of the Green Springs tucked in the ribbon.  I inked the sentiment from the Merry Little Labels stamp set with Basic Black, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Write Markers and then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I punched it out with the coordinating Everyday Label Punch and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the Basic Black tag.
