I used the Stampin’ Up! Musical Season stamp set bundle and to create my card for the Stamp Ink Paper Tic-Tac-Toe challenge this week.
Stampin’ Up! also gave us the start date for the new Stampin’ Blends Markers!! They’ll be available for purchase beginning on November 1!!! More details below. Yippee!!
Here is the Tic-Tac-Toe board for Stamp Ink Paper 121.
I started by adhering a panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack to a panel of Garden Green card stock with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel three times and then tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I inked just the words on the sentiment from the Musical Season stamp set by covering the two small flourishes with Post It Notes, inking the image, then removing the Post It Note masks and stamping the image on a strip of Whipser White card stock. I punched the end of the sentiment panel with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.
I stamped the branch image from the Musical Season stamp set twice in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whipser White card stock and then used Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler inks and a Blender Pen to color the Images. I cut them out with the coordinating Musical Instruments Framelits Die and I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the harp image from the Musical Season stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Gold Foil Sheets, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I cut the image out with the coordinating Musical Instruments Framelits Die and adhered it with Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front. I added some gold enamel dots from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Musical Season stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Whipser White card stock, then inked the branch image in Garden Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper twice and then stamped it on the Whipser White card stock panel inside the card.
You can see a list of supplies, including card stock cuts, for this project at the very bottom of this post.
