Stampin’ Up! Merry Mistletoe for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Merry Mistletoe stamp set and a little of the Be Merry DSP that is on the Buy 3 Get 1 Free Sale going on this month to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

My card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC021.  I went diagonal with die cut, free, oval.

I started by adhering two panels from the Be Merry DSP to panels of Whisper White and Garden Green card stocks with SNAIL.  Then I adhered the two panels to a Garden Green card base with SNAIL.

I punched a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper with the Banner Triple Punch, then adhered it with Fast Fuse Adhesive to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and adhered it with SNAIL to a scalloped oval that I’d cut from Garden Green card stock with another Layering Ovals Framelits Die.  I adhered the layered sentiment oval to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added three gold enamel dots from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and greenery images from the Merry Mistletoe stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
