Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Chums for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I’m waving hello from Salt Lake City today!  I enjoyed the Stampin’ Up! Home Office tour yesterday and I’m looking forward to the OnStage events today!  I used the Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Chums stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

And my card also works for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #TTTC023.  I went straight across the bottom.

I started by adhering a panel from the Be Merry DSP to a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I punched a strip from the Wood Textures DSP Stack with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and adhered it to the back of a panel of Color Theory DSP with SNAIL.  I adhered the punched strip so that the smaller scalloped edge peeked out rather than than the more decorative edge.  I adhered another strip of the Wood Textures DSP to the bottom of the Old Olive DSP panel then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the deer and snowman images from the Seasonal Chums stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used light and dark Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends as well as light Pool Party and the Ivory and Bronze Stampin’ Blends to color the images.  I used the Color Lifter to lighten the Pool Party ink around the edges of the snowman.

I cut the deer and snowman images out with the matching Seasonal Tags Framelits dies as well as two trees from Old Olive card stock.  I snipped apart the deer and snowman images and adhered the trees and two deer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front and the snowman with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Oh, What Fun photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Bunch of Banners Framelits dies and adhered it to the card front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a silver enamel star from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and holly images from the Oh, What Fun stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.

A Quick Update from Salt Lake City!

Half of our group arrived at the OnStage event in Salt Lake City on Wednesday and we did the Stampin’ Up! home office tour!  Here are a couple of the pictures.

Jari, Beth, Mary and me standing by the Stampin’ Up! rock…it was cold out there!

Here we are inside and a little warmer.  🙂

Mary, Jari and Beth checking out the Stampin’ Up! shipping warehouse…we did have to keep an eye on Mary, she was trying to sneak under the ropes to grab a few goodies!  Looking forward to a fun-filled day and our first peeks at the new catalog!  🙂
