Stampin’ Up! Lots of Lavender Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lots of Lavender and Lovely Wishes stamp sets from the upcoming Sale-a-bration and Occasions Catalogs to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

You know me…I can’t have new stuff laying around and not use it!!  🙂  So I tore right into my pack of Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) and found a Pool Party card base.  I cut a wide strip of Tutti-Frutti 6″ x 6″ DSP (available Jan 3) and adhered it to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL.

I wrapped a strand of Emerald Envy 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the layered DSP panel and tied a small bow, then adhered the DSP panel to the card front with SNAIL.  Then I stamped the outline flower image from the Lots of Lavender photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I inked the flower, leaves, stems and bow images from the Lots of Lavender stamp set in Real Red, Emerald Envy and Pool Party inks, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them on the Whisper White card stock panel.  I cut the image out with a Layering Ovals Framelits Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I tucked one of the Petal Passion Embellishments (available Jan 3) under the flower die cut and adhered it with a Glue Dot, then added three of the Glitter Epoxy Shapes (available Jan 3) around the flowers and bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Wishes photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in Emerald Envy ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock and I punched the end with the Banner Triple Punch.  I adhered the sentiment banner to a banner cut and punched from Emerald Envy card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered banner to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Lots of Lavender stamp set in the colors noted above on a Whisper White card stock panel inside the card.

Here is a peek at the pretty Lots of Lavender Sale-a-bration exclusive stamp set.

And this is the Lovely Wishes stamp set!
