Stampin’ Up! Amazing You Birthday

I used the Stampin’ Up! Amazing You stamp set and Celebrate You Thinlits Dies from the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog and the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set from the upcoming Occasions Catalog to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and this is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the three candle images from the Picture Perfect Birthday photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled them with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed them.  I stamped the flame images in Daffodil Delight ink above the candles and used a Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker to draw the wicks.

I inked the two confetti images from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Smoky Slate ink, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them randomly over the upper and lower corners of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the “Let’s” sentiment from the Amazing You stamp set (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3)  in Smoky Slate ink next to the candles.

I cut the sentiment with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (Sale-a-bration item available Jan 3) twice from Whisper White and once from Copper Foil Sheet.  I stacked the sentiments one-on-top of the other and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to each other and then the Whisper White card stock panel.  I adhere Whisper White card stock panel to a panel of Copper Foil Sheets with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a silver enamel star from the Metallic Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then heat embossed it with Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  I inked the two confetti images from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set in Smoky Slate ink, stamped them on scrap paper and then stamped them randomly next to the sentiment to finish the inside of the card.
