I used the Stampin’ Up! Flying home and Picnic With You stamp sets to create a quick card to share with you today.  And I couldn’t help myself…I pulled out another one of those Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes for my card base.  They’re the perfect colors and designs for almost everything!

My card design was inspired by TGIF Challenges #142.

I started by stamping the bird nest image from the Flying Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored the image with the Light Bermuda Bay, Dark Pool Party, Light Daffodil Delight and Bronze Stampin’ Blends Markers as well as the Crumb Cake and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs.

I stamped the sentiment from the Picnic With You photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink under the bird nest image, then adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to the front of one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes (Sale-a-bration item) with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of washi tape from the Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape under the right side of the focal panel and then pulled a strand of Linen Thread through one of the True Gentleman Buttons.  I tied a bow with the Linen Thread and then adhered it with a Glue Dot to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the little birds from the Flying Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a Whisper White card stock panel.  I colored the birds with Light Bermuda Bay, Dark Pool Party and Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers and then adhered the panel to a panel of Bermuda Bay card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to the inside of the card base to finish it.
