I used the Stampin’ Up! A Good Day stamp set and the coordinating Mini Embroidery Hoops to create a clean and simple card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #255.

I started by adhering a panel from the Tutti-Frutti 6″ x 6″ DSP to one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes (Sale-a-bration item) card bases with SNAIL. I adhered a slightly smaller panel from the Tutti-Frutti DSP Stack over the first panel with SNAIL, then added a strip of the Tutti-Frutti Washi Tape over it.

I stamped the image from the A Good Day stamp set in Basic Black Archival ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Soft Suede and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the A Good Day stamp set in Pool Party ink under the first image, then punched it out with the 2″ Circle Punch.

I tied a strand of Pool Party Solid Baker’s Twine around the little screw in the top of one of the Mini Embroidery Hoops and adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stacked Stampin’ Dimensionals one-on-top of the other (double height) and adhered the punched circle inside the embroidery hoop.  I adhered a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped and colored the little tree image from the A Good Day stamp set on a Whisper White card stock panel, then adhered it to a Pool Party card stock panel inside the card.
