Stampin’ Up! Waterfront for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront stamp set to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC175.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!

The design for my card was inspired by Global Design Project #GDP130.

I started by inking the Hardwood stamp set image in Marina Mist ink, stamping it on scrap paper and then stamping it across the front of a Marina Mist card base.  Then I cut the fronts from two of the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes (Sale-a-bration item) and I adhered one of them to the front of the card with SNAIL. I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the other panel, tied a bow, and then adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the images from the Waterfront photopolymer stamp set in Soft Sky, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the image out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits Die and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut one of the Wood Textures DSP panels with the die from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies and then adhered it to the Stitched Shapes circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Feather Together photopolymer stamp set in Marina Mist ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the small dot image from the Waterfront stamp set in Soft Sky ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the sentiment.  I punched the end of the sentiment with the Banner Triple Punch and then adhered it to the card front with SNAIL on the left and Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right.

I stamped the sentiment from the Heartfelt Sympathy photopolymer stamp set in Marina Mist ink (avoiding inking the flowers on the “R”) on a Whisper White card stock panel.  I added the images from the Waterfront stamp set in Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake and Soft Sky inks and then stamped the chairs from the Cozy Cottage host exclusive stamp set in Marina Mist to finish the inside of the card.
