I used the Stampin’ Up! Fabulous Flamingo stamp set and one of the awesome Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes from Sale-a-bration to create my card for the Fab Friday color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 134.  Hope that you’ll stop by the Fab Friday Challenge Blog and play along too!

I started by stamping the flamingo outline and water images from the Fabulous Flamingo photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the flamingo details in Powder Pink ink over the outline images and then stamped the palms and grass around the flamingo in So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz inks.  I used the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker (available in late May) to color over the water area under the bird.

I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock with SNAIL and then to a panel of Soft Sky card stock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Soft Sky panel to one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes (Sale-a-bration item) card bases with SNAIL and then stamped the sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Soft Sky card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added a Pink Pirouette enamel heart from the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the images from the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set in Night of Navy, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I colored over the water image with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker, then adhered the Whisper White panel to a panel of Night of Navy card stock and then to the inside of the card base with SNAIL.
