I used the Candy Cane Season stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog to create my card to share with you today.  I also used a little of the Santa’s Workshop Speciality DSP…that stuff is awesome!!  It doesn’t show well in the photos, but the white stripes on the smaller panel have flocking on them.  It adds such a cool texture!

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 398.

I started by adhering a panel from the Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP (available Sept 5) to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL.  I adhered a strip of Santa’s Workshop DSP to a panel of Poppy Parade card stock and then to the larger panel with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Poppy Parade card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a panel of Champagne Foil Sheets with a die from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies (available Sept 5) and then adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the candy cane images from the Candy Cane Season photopolymer stamp set (available Sept 5) in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then punched them out with the coordinating Candy Cane Builder Punch (available Sept 5).  I adhered the candy cane punches with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the bow outline image from the Candy Cane Season stamp set in Garden Green ink twice on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the solid bow image in Garden Green ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the lined image for both bows.  I punched the bows out with the Candy Cane Builder Punch and adhered them with Glue Dots to the candy canes.

I stamped the sentiment and candy cane heart image from the Candy Cane Season stamp set in Garden Green and Poppy Parade inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
