Stampin’ Up! Snow is Glistening for the Happy Inkin’ ThursdayBlog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Snow is Glistening and Alpine Adventure stamp sets to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by stamping the snowfall border image from the Snow is Glistening photopolymer stamp set (available Nov 1) in VersaMark ink across the top of a panel of Blueberry Bushel card stock.  I sprinkled the images with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and and then heat embossed them.  I stamped the sentiment from the Alpine Adventure photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on the panel Blueberry Bushel card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.

I punched the ends of strips of Whisper White and Glavanized Metallic Paper with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered them with SNAIL to the embossed panel.  I adhered the layered panel to a slightly larger panel of Blueberry Bushel card stock with SNAIL and then to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut three snowflakes from White Velvet Sheets (available Nov 1) with the Snowfall Thinlits Dies (available Nov 1) and  adhered them to the card front with touches of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added one of the Snowflake Trinkets (available Nov 1) with a rolled up Glue Dot to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Snow is Glistening stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I inked the snowflake images from the Snow is Glistening stamp set with Blueberry Bushel ink, stamped them on scarp paper and then stamped them around the sentiment to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Just gorgeous Amy! Love how the white embossing pops on the blueberry bushel background and swooning over the large snowflake element in the middle 🙂
