Stampin’ Up! Falling for Leaves for the for the Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop!  This is a group of amazing stampers so be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all of the projects!  This month we are showcasing techniques with Stampin’ Up! items and I’ve used the Falling for Leaves stamp set bundle to do a little no line watercoloring.

I started by adhering a panel from the Country Lane DSP pack to a Crushed  Curry card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I inked the leaf images from the Falling for Leaves photopolymer stamp set in Crushed Curry ink and I stamped them on scrap paper and then on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock three times without reinking.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Falling for Leaves stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then inked the leaf images from that set in Cajun Craze ink, stamped them on scrap paper twice and then stamped them across the bottom of the panel.  I adhered a strip of 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim to the sentiment panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered the stamped panel to the card front with SNAIL.

I stamped the leaf images from the Falling For Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow inks on a panel of Watercolor paper and then used an Aqua Painter and a little Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow ink to watercolor the leaves.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies and then adhered them with Glue Dots to the card front.  I added some silver Metallic Pearls and Rhinestone Basic Jewels around the die cut images and then tied a bow with a strand of Festive Farmhouse Twine through one of the Galvanized Metallic Clips before sliding it onto the sentiment panel to finish the card front.

I stamped the leaf images from the Falling for Leaves stamp set in Crushed Curry ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.

Thank you so much for joining us today. We hope you’ll join us again next month to check out our projects!
