Stampin’ Up! Alpine Adventure for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays” theme and I’m featuring the Alpine Adventure stamp set bundle for my project.

My card was inspired by one of the cards in the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog.  I love the Alpine Adventure stamp set bundle so I had fun putting this one together!  I started by stamping the image from the Buffalo Check stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Real Red card stock.  I adhered the panel to a slightly larger panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL and then added a strip of Burlap Trim over the front with Tear & Tape Adhesive.

I wrapped a strand of Garden Green Baker’s Twine around the panel and tied a bow, then adhered the panel to a Crumb Cake card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I embossed a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and then cut a panel of Sparkle Glimmer Paper with the snowdrift die from the In the Woods Framelits Dies. I adhered the glimmer paper to the embossed panel with SNAIL.  I adhered the layered panel to a Crumb Cake card stock panel with SNAIL and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Alpine Adventure stamp set in Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate, Garden Green, Real Red and Soft Sea Foam inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut them out with the coordinating Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies.  I cut a small bow from Real Red card stock with one of the Alpine Sports Thinlits Dies and then adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Glue Dots.  I cut a snowflake with the Blizzard Thinlits Die from Sparkle Glimmer Paper and adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Alpine Adventure stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Garden Green card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set in Garden Green ink across the embossed panel and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.  I added a single Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplet next to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and wreath images from the Alpine Adventure stamp set in Real Red and Garden Green inks on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
