I used the Stampin’ Up! Wishing You Well stamp set and a little of the Under the Mistletoe DSP to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop today. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and this is what I made for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using…I got a little carried away on the layers. 😉
And the Christmas theme for my card was inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #303.
I started by adhering a panel from the Under the Mistletoe DSP to a Real Red card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I embossed a panel of Old Olive card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder and then adhered it with SNAIL to the card front. I punched the ends of a strip of Under the Mistletoe DSP with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered the banner to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Wood Textures DSP and then adhered the DSP panel to the card front with SNAIL. I stamped the wreath image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Old Olive ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a Stitched Shapes Framelits die. I adhered the die cut panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the bow from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with my Paper Snips. I adhered the bow to the card front with a Glue Dot and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish it.
I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines photopolymer stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added the wreath image from the Wishing You Well stamp set in Old Olive ink next to it to finish the inside of the card.
