Stampin’ Up! Meant to Be For Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Meant to Be stamp set bundle from the upcoming 2019 Occasions Catalog to create a clean and simple valentine card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC193.  Be sure to stop by the Sunday Stamps blog to see what the other design team members created and to play along too!

My card design was inspired by CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #300.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Meant to Be cling stamp set (available Jan 3) in Mint Macaron ink on the front of a Mint Macaron card base and then I embossed the front of the card base with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.

I stamped the small heart image from the Meant to Be stamp set in Blushing Bride and Lovely Lipstick inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut the hearts out with the coordinating Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies (available Jan 3).  I stamped the floral heart image in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored it with Light Mint Macaron, Light Soft Suede and Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends.

I cut the Soft Suede stamped heart with one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies and then cut hearts from Blushing Bride and Lovely Lipstick card stocks with that same die set.  I adhered the die cut hearts to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I finished the card front by pulling a strand of Linen Thread through one of the Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons (available Jan 3) and tying a bow, then adhering it with a Glue Dot.

I finished the inside of the card by stamping three heart images from the Meant to Be stamp set in Blushing Bride, Lovely Lipstick and Mint Macaron inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.
