Stampin’ Up! Lasting Lily with Part of My Story Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lasting Lily stamp set and Lily Framelits Dies to create my card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial showing you how I made this card so stop by my YouTube Channel or Facebook Page to watch it now!

The spring flowers on my card were inspired by The Paper Players PP431.

I started by cutting one of the frames from a panel of Beautifully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and adhering it with the white side up on a Sahara Sand card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I inked the flower images from the Lasting Lily photopolymer stamp set (Sale-a-bration item) in Grapefruit Grove ink and then added Flirty Flamingo ink around the edges with a Sponge Dauber.

I cut the flowers out with the coordinating Lily Framelits Dies and adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I stamped the stems from the Lasting Lily stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut them out with the Lily Framelits Dies.  I adhered the stem die cuts with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front, trimming the smaller flower stem so that it was not off the end of the card stock panel.

***I show you a quick technique for how to line the stem images up with the dies before stamping them so that you get a perfect die cut every time in my video!

I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the card front twice and tied a small bow.  Then I stamped the sentiment in Grapefruit Grove ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Lily Framelits Dies and adhered it with SNAIL to a die cut from Grapefruit Grove card stock with one of the other Lily Framelits Dies.  I adhered the layered die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to finish the card front.

I stamped the flower images in Grapefruit Grove, Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist inks on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Beautiful! That frame with the flowers is awesome! Thanks for the tip on lining the stems up with the dies.

  2. Beautiful flowers Amy but for me it’s the layout with that fabulous frame that steals the show! Thanks for joining us over at The Paper Players this week!
