Stampin’ Up! Tea Together Mother’s Day Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tea Together stamp set and Tea Time Framelits Dies to create a Mother’s Day card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

I started by stamping the doily images from the Dear Doily stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Balmy Blue card stock witn SNAIL and then to a Night of Navy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the teapot and tea cup images from the Tea Together stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I stamped the flower image from the Tea Together stamp set in Night of Navy ink over the tea pot and tea cup, using the “negative” from a Tea Time Framelits Die (Sale-a-bration item) to keep the flower stamping inside the lines of the teapot and cup.  I colored the flower images with Light and Dark Night of Navy and Dark Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers and then cut them out with the Tea Time Framelits Dies.

I adhered the teapot image with SNAIL to the card front and then cut a panel of Night of Navy card stock with two of the dies from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies.  I adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then added the tea cup with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tea Together stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Balmy Blue card stock and then cut it out with one of the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Strong & Beautiful stamp set in Night of Navy ink and the flowers from the Tea Together stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.
