Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala Just a Note

I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Gala stamp set bundle (it’s back in stock…YAY!!) to create my card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 430.

I started by adhering a panel from the Gingham Gala 6″ x 6″ DSP to a panel of Daffodil Delight card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice and tied a bow, then adhered the panel to a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a panel from the Wood Textures DSP Stack to the card front, then stamped the butterfly outline images from the Butterfly Gala photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added the solid images in Pool Party ink over them.  I punched the images out with the Butterfly Duet Punch and then stamped the butterfly body images from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink over the centers of the punched images.  I adhered the three butterflies with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Pool Party ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut it out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelits Die.  I adhered the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front and then added a Glitter Enamel Dot to finish it.

I adhered a strip of the Gingham Gala DSP to a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies used to create these cards, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of  this blog post.
