Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love for the Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop and Fab Friday

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop!  This is a group of amazing stampers so be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all of the projects!  This month we are showcasing Stampin’ Up! products for techniques and I’ve used the Jar of Love stamp set and the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies set for my card.  I did some basic techniques with dry embossing and stamping and die cutting.

My card is also for the Fab Friday Design Team, be sure to stop by their blog to play along with the color challenge this week too!

Here are the colors for Fab Friday 162.  Stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #186.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to a Thick Whisper White card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut a panel of Blushing Bride DSP from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP pack and a panel of Whisper White card stock with Layering Squares Framelits Dies.  I adhered the two die cuts together and then to the card front with SNAIL.

I tucked a small piece of Poppy Parade DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack under the die cut square, adhering it with SNAIL.  I stamped the images from the Jar of Love photopolymer stamp set in Poppy Parade, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party and Pear Pizzazz inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the images out with the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies, adhered them together with Glue Dots and then to the card front with Stampin’ Dimenionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Butterfly Gala photopolymer stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a Rectangle Stitched Shapes Framelits die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three Metallic Pearls around the card front to finish it.

I stamped the stem image from the Jar of Love stamp set in Pear Pizzazz ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added two of the leftover die cuts with Glue Dots to finish the inside of the card.

  1. This card evokes feelings of a warm welcome in an American country kitchen with baking fresh out of the oven and a whole stack of love! (Not that I’ve ever been to one, but the movies all say it’s so!!)
