I used the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You stamp set bundle to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is what I created for it…I did a bit of CASEing from the catalog for my card today.  🙂

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by cutting a panel of See a Silhouette DSP with one of the Rectangle Stitched Dies.  I cut panels of Soft Suede and Early Espresso cards stocks with one of the Friendly Silhouette Dies, adhered them together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then cut the bottom and edges with the same Rectangle Stitched Die that I’d used for the large panel.  I adhered the layered die cuts to the larger rectangle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the dragonfly image from the Friend Like You photopolymer stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the large die cut rectangle (masking one dragonfly for one of the images).  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the front of a Shimmery White card base and tied a small bow.  I adhered the  rectangle die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Friend Like You stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a panel of Shimmery White card stock and then cut it out with a Rectangle Stitched Die.  I adhered the die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front and then added three gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the cattail images from the Friend Like You stamp set in Soft Suede and Early Espresso inks on a panel of Shimmery White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
