Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Watercolor Wash Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

My card design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #338.

I started by adding a watercolor wash with Coastal Cabana ink and an Aqua Painter to a panel of Watercolor Paper.  I let the paper dry completely and then inked the dot image from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the watercolor wash image several times.

I cut snowflakes from Sparkle Glimmer Paper with Christmas Layers Dies and then adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I added a small strip of Cherry Cobbler 3/8″ Diagonal Stripe Ribbon, using SNAIL to adhere it to the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.

I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Rectangle Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets around the snowflakes to finish the card front.

I stamped the dot image from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink several times and the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies needed to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
