Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas stamp set bundle and some of the beautiful Feels Like Frost DSP to create a Christmas card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by embossing a panel of Seaside Spray card stock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Seaside Spray card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP with a Stitched Rectangle Die and I cut it in half.  I adhered the two halves with SNAIL so that they had about a 1-1/2″ gap between them on the card front.

I cut another panel from the Feels Like Frost DSP pack with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhered it with SNAIL to the card front.  I colored the image from the Toile Christmas stamp set with Night of Navy and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Write Markers and then stamped it on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating Christmas Cardinals Die and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Toile Christmas stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added a strip of Feels Like Frost DSP to finish the inside of the card.
