Stampin’ Up! Super Simple Fall Perennial Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Perennial Birthday stamp set and the To Every Season stamp set bundle to create a super quick fall card to share with you today.

My card design was inspired by My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge #455.

I started by adhering the sentiment stamp from the Perennial Birthday stamp set to one of my Stamparatus Plates.  I placed the stamp so that it was near the bottom of the plate and lined up with the edge of the Thick Very Vanilla card base.

I stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Soft Seude inks up the Thick Very Vanilla card base.  I stamped the Cajun Craze image first and then removed the Stamparatus Plate, slid it up one notch and then stamped the Cherry Cobbler image.  I did the same thing with Daffodil Delight and finally Soft Suede.

I stamped the leaf image from the To Every Season photopolymer stamp set in Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Soft Seude inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I used the Light Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight and Soft Seude Stampin’ Blends Markers to color the leaves and then punched them out with the coordinating punch from the Every Season Punch Pack.

I adhered the leaf punches to the card front with Glue Dots and then added a gold pearl from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Soft Suede ink and the leaves from the To Every Season stamp set in Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I colored the leaves with Light Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to finish the inside of the card.

  1. You are right-super simple, but super great! This could be done in minutes and make multiples for a boxed set. Different colors for different folks. You could even do the front panel and put it on a gingham mat. See where your card took me??? Thanks for sharing.

  2. It’s a great card and wonderful way to show off the Stamparatus and leaf punch. I can’t live without my Stamparatus and now I’m beginning to believe I can’t live without the leaf punch 🙂
