Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs stamp set bundle to create a Season’s Greetings card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a narrow strip from the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP to the right side of a Night of Navy card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I adhered a larger panel from the same sheet of Feels Like Frost DSP to a panel of Night of Navy card stock and then to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Night of Navy ink on part of that same panel of Feels Like Frost DSP that I’d trimmed away for the card front.  I inked the pine bough image from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Seaside Spray ink, stamped them twice on scrap paper and then stamped them above and below the sentiment.  I cut the sentiment out with a Stitched Shapes Die and adhered it with SNAIL to a scalloped oval that I’d cut from Night of Navy card stock with a Layering Ovals Die.  I adhered the layered die cut to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut panels of Seaside Spray and Night of Navy card stocks with a die from the Frosted Frames Dies and then cut a panel of Silver Foil Sheets with one of the Beautiful Boughs Dies.  I adhered the die cut pieces with Glue Dots to the card front and then added three of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then inked the pine bough images from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Seaside Spray ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it over the corners of the panel to finish the inside of the card.
