Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a strip of Toile Tidings DSP to the edge of a Thick Very Vanilla card base with SNAIL.  Then I embossed a panel of Very Vanilla card stock with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder and I adhered the embossed panel with SNAIL to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I cut around the stamped image with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and then adhered a length of Garden Green 3/8″ Double-Stitched Ribbon with SNAIL to the back.  I adhered the die cut panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the tree image from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Garden Green and Real Red inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock.  I stamped the Garden Green image a second time on the panel without reinking.  I punched the three trees out with the Pine Tree Punch and adhered two with SNAIL and the 3rd with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three of the Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Garden Green ink on a Very Vanilla card stock panel and then added a strip of Toile Tidings DSP to finish the inside of the card.
