I used the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Friendship and Very Versailles stamp sets and a little of the Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP to create a quick birthday card to share with you today.
My card design as inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #409.
I started by inking the script and leaf images from the Very Versailles stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink, stamping them on scrap paper and then stamping them on the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base. I adhered a strip of the Christmastime Is Here Specialty DSP to a strip of Gold Foil Sheets and then to the card front with SNAIL.
I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Friendship photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Cherry Cobbler card stock then heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I cut the image out with one of the Layering Circles Dies and then adhered the die cut sentiment with SNAIL to a circle cut from Gold Foil Sheets with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.
I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added three of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Whisper White card stock panel and then added a strip of Christmastime Is Here DSP to finish the inside of the card.
I played a bit with the colors in the DSP and made cards in Poppy Parade, Whisper White and Mossy Meadow card stocks too!
You can see a list of supplies needed to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
