I used the Stampin’ Up! Here’s A Card stamp set and the beautiful Feels Like Frost DSP to create a birthday card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. We’ve got a sketch challenge this week and here is what I created for it.
Here is the sketch that we’re using this week:
I started by adhering a panel from the Feels Like Frost 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP to a panel of Highland Heather card stock with SNAIL. I adhered the layered panel to a Purple Posy card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I punched both ends of a panel of Purple Posy card stock with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the card front with SNAIL. I cut a panel of Silver Foil Sheets with one of the Frosted Frames Dies and I adhered the die cut pieces to the card front with Glue Dots.
I stamped the sentiment from the Here’s A Card stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Highland Heather card stock, sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it. I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added five silver pearls from the Metallic Pearls pack to finish the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Perennial Birthday stamp set in Highland Heather ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock. I adhered a strip of Feels Like Frost DSP to finish the card front.

Beautiful, Amy! I thought you didn’t like purple?! It does make a lovely card doesn’t it?
Thanks Julie! I don’t like purple very well…but it does match that pretty paper so I used it anyway. 🙂
