I used the Stampin’ Up! Playful Penguins and Greatest Part of Christmas stamp sets to create a Christmas card to share with you today.  The Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set is one of the host exclusive sets that is available on orders or parties of $150+!

My card design was inspired by Global Design Project #214.

I started by adhering a panel of Most Wonderful Time DSP (available in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley) to a panel of Real Red card stock with SNAIL.  I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel three time and tied a bow, then adhered the layered panel to a Real Red card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the penguin, hat and scarf images from the Playful Penguins stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento, Real Red and Old Olive inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut around the penguin with one of the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and then snipped out the hat and scarf.  I adhered the hat and scarf to the penguin with SNAIL, then adhered the label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set (host exclusive) in VersaMark ink on one of the banner stickers from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat embossed it.  I adhered the sticker to the die cut label and then added a Real Red and two gold dots from the Toile Tidings Glitter Enamel Dots and the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Real Red ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, then added a strip of Most Wonderful Time DSP to finish the inside of the card.
