Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

My card design was inspire by Sketch Saturday #589.

I started by stamping the splatter image from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base.  Then I cut a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the splatter image in Crumb Cake ink across the die cut circle and then adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the A Wish For Everything stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the Cherry Cobbler card base and then cut the “Christmas” sentiment from Copper Foil Sheets with one of the Word Wishes Dies.  I adhered the die cut sentiment to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut the cup, candy canes, bows and flower from Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla card stocks with dies from the Cup of Cheer Dies.

I adhered the die cut pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the candy canes and bows with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front and added the cup with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added three of the Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels pack to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then added a strip of the Night Before Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP to finish the inside of the card.
