Stampin’ Up! Making Christmas Bright For Sunday Stamps

I’m packing up and heading back home after a wonderful weekend with my team at the Stampin’ Up! OnStage event in Hartford, CT!  Waving goodbye for now and already looking forward to the next event soon!

I used the Stampin’ Up! Making Christmas Bright stamp set and the Perfectly Plaid stamp set bundle to create a Christmas card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC218.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by stamping the circle image from the Making Christmas Bright photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand ink three times across the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.  Then I punched three trees from Wrapped In Plaid 6″ x 6″ Specialty DSP and I adhered two with SNAIL and one with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Making Christmas Bright stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.

I added three adhesive-backed gold faceted stars from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and pine tree from the Perfectly Plaid photopolymer stamp set in Sahara Sand and Shaded Spruce inks on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

You can see a list of supplies needed to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.
