Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas for the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop

Today I’m joining in the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop and we’re all showcasing Stampin’ Up! projects with a Winter Wonderland theme.  I used the Toile Christmas stamp set bundle and the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley to create a clean and simple holiday card to share with you.

My card design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #412.

I started by embossing a panel of Smoky Slate card stock with the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.  I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Smoky Slate card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I cut a panel of the Most Wonderful Time DSP (available exclusively in the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley) with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the die cut panel with SNAIL to the card front.

I adhered one of the tree stickers from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley to the card front  and then adhered two of the deer stickers from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley together.  I tapped my Embossing Buddy over the back of the deer stickers to remove the stickiness and then adhered the deer to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Toile Christmas stamp set in VersaMark ink on a panel of Smoky Slate card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the sentiment out with the coordinating Christmas Cardinal Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three of the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots around the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Peaceful Boughs stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and added one of the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley stickers to finish the inside of the card.

  1. This is a great set. I only have the stamps but you can do so much more with the stickers, etc. I tried to hop all the way through but the link from Rebecca Jo to Leonie didn’t work. I went to Leonie’s home page, saw her project but then the link from her post to Stacey Marsh didn’t work. I went to Stacey’s home page but didn’t see a post for this hop. Do you know how many more there are?

  2. What a beautiful card! I love the embossed background and the sweet scene you’ve created! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
