Stampin’ Up! Music From My Heart for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Day After Christmas!  Hope that you all have recovered from the festivities of yesterday.  🙂

I used the Stampin’ Up! Music From The Heart stamp set from the upcoming January-June 2020 Mini Catalog to create my card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  We’ve got a color challenge this week and here is what I created for it.

Here are the colors that we’re using this week:

I started by adhering a panel from the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the front of a Soft Suede card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Then I inked the line image from the Music From The Heart photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in Soft Suede ink, stamped it on scrap paper and then stamped it across a panel of Very Vanilla card stock four times.  I added the music note images from the Music From The Heart stamp set in “full strength” Soft Suede over the lines.

I colored the two hearts with the Light and Dark Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack and then embossed the stamped panel with the Subtle Embossing Folder and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.  I adhered it to a panel of Soft Suede card stock with SNAIL and then wrapped a length of Linen Thread around it three times and tied a bow.  I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Music From The Heart stamp set in Soft Suede ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock and then inked and stamped off the music notes in Rococo Rose ink and then stamped them over the sentiment.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it with SNAIL to an oval cut from Pressed Petals DSP with one of the Layering Ovals Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. and then used the Dark Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Marker to color three of the Melon Mambo rhinestones from the Noble Peacock Rhinestones pack.  I adhered the rhinestones to the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment and music notes from the Music From The Heart stamp set in Soft Suede and Rococo Rose inks on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock to finish the inside of the card.
