Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air with Happy Birthday To You for Sunday Stamps

I used the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air stamp set bundle from the upcoming January-June 2020 Mini Catalog and the Happy Birthday To You stamp set from the upcoming 2020 Sale-a-bration Brochure to create my card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC221.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set (Sale-a-braiton item, available Jan 3) in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on the front of a Sahara Sand card base.   Then I stamped the reverse/solid mountain image from the Mountain Air photopolymer stamp set (available Jan 3) in Sahara Sand ink across the front of the card base two times.

I stamped the detailed mountain image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Gray Granite card stock and then in Smoky Slate ink on Smoky Slate card stock.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Majestic Mountains Dies (available Jan 3) and then adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the card front.  I stamped the tree line image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a panel of Basic Gray card stock and then cut it out with the coordinating Majestic Mountains Dies.  I adhered the tree line die cut to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then trimmed all three die cuts even with the edges of the card front.

I cut three pine trees from Basic Black card stock with one of the Majestic Mountains Dies and then adhered them to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I trimmed the edges of the trees even with the card front and then stamped the bird image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite ink on the card front to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink  and then added the mountains and trees from the Mountain Air stamp set in Smoky Slate and Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Great take on the challlenge–all neutral colors could be bland, but not your card! I feel right at home in this card so I love it. (Could be the view out my windows!)
