Stampin’ Up! All Dressed Up Dies – Fancy Purses!

I used the Stampin’ Up! All Dressed Up Dies to make some fun “fancy” purses to share with you today.   I did a YouTube Live yesterday to show you how easy it is to make these cute purses and you can see it here.

I dressed up the purses with a some accents from the foil sheets and I added a little bit of tissue paper so that they’re all ready for gift giving!

The purse and handles for the black purse were cut from Basic Black card stock and the pocket and closure were cut from Black Foil Sheets with the All Dressed Up Dies.  The buttons and buckles were cut from Champagne Foil Sheets and I used Tear & Tape Adhesive and Glue Dots to adhere the purses together.

This purse was cut from Sahara Sand card stock and the pocket and closure were cut from Gold Foil Sheets.  The button and buckles were cut from Champagne Foil Sheets.

The silver purse was cut from Smoky Slate card stock and the pocket and closure were cut from Silver Foil Sheets.  The button and buckles were cut from Champagne Foil Sheets.

I added buckles cut from Champagne Foil Sheets to the back of each of the purses too!  They are super easy to cut and assemble and I love that they’re perfect for small gifts, chocolates and gift cards!  They’re perfect for birthdays, bridal showers, Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day or any time that you want to give a gift wrapped in cute packaging!

You can see a list of supplies used to create this card, including the card stock cuts, at the very bottom of this blog post.

  1. Love these Amy ☺️ I’m go to have to think about ordering this bundle now. These would make really cute gifts for all my cashiers.

  2. Could you use those small magnets for the closure? Put one side of the magnet on the inside and the other on the back side of the closure. That way you can get in it without ruining that cate purse. Was just a thought

  3. Amy, VERY cute purses!! I watched the replay of your YouTube ( good job) & you made it look easy to do these. And clever use of the foil & emboss folder. You have the best ideas!

  4. Such a cute idea! I plan to use these purses, instead of making a box, when I make a gift of cards to friends. Thank you for sharing!

  5. I think what would work well for the closure would be the adhesive Velcro dots. I have used these for gift card holders and they work very well. That way you can open and close the purse without tearing the closure.
