I used the Stampin’ Up! Bonanza Buddies stamp set bundle to create a fun birthday card for the Sunday Stamps sketch challenge this week.

Here is the sketch for Sunday Stamps SSC224.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

I started by adhering a panel of Birthday Bonanza DSP to a panel of Whisper White card stock with SNAIL and then to a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut around it with one of the Bonanza Dies.

I cut another panel of Birthday Bonanza DSP with the end of the tag die from the Bonanza Dies and then adhered the tag die cuts together with SNAIL.  I used one of the Bonanza Dies to cut a koala out of the Birthday Bonanza DSP and then adhered the die cut with SNAIL to the tag.  I stamped the balloon strings and one balloon from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and Daffodil Delight ink on the tag and then stamped the other two balloon images from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Bermuda Bay and Terracotta Tile inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.

I cut the balloons out with one of the Bonanza Dies and adhered one with a Glue Dot and the other with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the tag.  I stamped the hat from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Coastal Cabana ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and cut the hat out with one of the Bonanza Dies.  I adhered the hat with a Glue Dot and then pulled 5 strands of Bermuda Bay twine from the Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack (Sale-a-bration item) through the top of the tag and tied them with another strand of Bermuda Bay twine.

I adhered the tag to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel next to the sentiment to finish it.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then added strips of  Birthday Bonanza DSP to finish the inside of the card.
