Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Blog Hop! This is a group of amazing stampers from all over the world so be sure to hop through the full line up below so that you can see all of the projects!  This month we are showcasing  Stampin’ Up! projects with a birthday theme and I’ve used the Bonanza Buddies stamp set bundle for my project.

My card design was inspired by the Fusion Sketch this week:

I started by adhering two panels from the Birthday Bonanza DSP to a panel of Coastal Cabana card stock with SNAIL.  I added a small length of 5/16″ Braided Burlap Trim over the seam in the papers with Tear & Tape Adhesive.  Then I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Bermuda Bay card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut lengthened rectangle from a panel of Whisper White card stock with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I lengthened the rectangle by rolling about 2/3 of the die through the die cutting machine and then reversing it back out.  Then I slid the die up the paper about 1-1/2″ and lined up the stitched notches and rolled the die through the machine from the other end about 2/3 of the way before reversing it back out.  I adhered the lengthened rectangle to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the images from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Bermuda Bay, Tuxedo Black Memento, Grapefruit Grove, Coastal Cabana, Smoky Slate and Terracotta Tile inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I used the Stamparatus to restamp the images to make sure that I got solid ink coverage.  I cut the images out with the coordinating Bonanza Dies and adhered them to the rectangle with Glue Dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut around it with a Stitched Rectangle Die.  I adhered the die cut sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals under the left and a Glue Dot under the right side.  I added three Glitter Enamel Dots near the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and images from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set in Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove and Bermuda Bay inks on a panel of Whisper White card stock to finish the inside of the card.
