I used the Stampin’ Up! Welcome Easterstamp set to create a fun spring card for the Sunday Stamps color challenge this week.

Here are the colors for Sunday Stamps SSC227.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to play along too!

The design for my card was loosely inspired by Inspire.Create.Challenges #065.

I started by adhering a panel of Granny Apple Green DSP from the Brights 6″ x 6″ DSP pack to a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with SNAIL.  Then I wrapped a strand of Linen Thread around the panel twice, tied a bow and adhered it to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the chick, bunny and lamb images from the Welcome Easter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and then colored them with Light and Dark, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I also added a few shadows by coloring with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker and then blending it with the Color Lifter.  I adhered the stamped panel to a panel of Granny Apple Green card stock and then Crumb Cake card stock before adhering it to the DSP panel with SNAIL.

I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips photopolymer stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock.  I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added three of the clear Frosted Flower Embellishments to finish the card front.

I stamped the bunny image from the Welcome Easter stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and the colored it with Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers to finish the inside of the card.
