Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Anniversary Card With Video Tutorial

I used the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style stamp set bundle to create an anniversary card to share with you today.  The awesome new Ornate Garden Product Suite is available to order now.  Yay!!!  I did a video tutorial for making this card on my Facebook page yesterday.  I’ve also uploaded it to my YouTube Channel so you can view it there too!

My card design was inspired by Mojo Monday 534.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White card stock with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and the 3D Embossing Folder Plate.  I cut the panel in half and then adhered the pieces with SNAIL to two panels of Whisper White card stock.  I adhered the layered panel with SNAIL to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base.

I stamped the larger floral image from the Ornate Style stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and then heat embossed it.  I cut the image out with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and then adhered it with SNAIL to a frame cut from Whisper White card stock with one of the Ornate Layers Dies.   I adhered the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Whisper White card stock and heat embossed it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder.   I cut the sentiment out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and then adhered it with SNAIL and Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.  I added one of the Gilded Gems to the sentiment to finish the card front.

I stamped the sentiment and floral image from the Beautiful Bouquet and Ornate Style stamp sets in Sahara Sand ink on a Whisper White card stock panel to finish the inside of the card.

  1. Oooh wee! How beautiful. A whole new look without the colors normally seen in that set! You are sooo creative.
